The Daily Bread

“I would say to housewives, be not daunted by one failure, nor by twenty. Resolve that you will have good bread, and never cease striving after this result till you have effected it. If persons without brains can accomplish this, why cannot you?” - Marion Cabell Tyree

Pie Crust

I have never made an apple pie but it is the season. So with a source of fresh apples from Jackson's Orchard and a recipe for a cream cheese crust I am setting out on this adventure. This pie has to be perfect, it is American through and through and one of my favorite pies. I'm making the crust today and baking the pie tomorrow. I should have a recipe up either tomorrow or the next day.
Until then, enjoy the work in progress of the crust.

"Two things only the people desire: bread, and the circus games."  --Juvenal
